Live a rainbow this summer

Live a rainbow this summer

Spring is in full swing, but I still haven’t managed to finish up my spring cleaning. Truth be told, I probably never will. So I’m looking for ways to make the house feel fresh without expending a huge amount of energy. Because, frankly, I just don’t have it in me.

Same goes for my closet. I had big plans for purging, and I did a little bit, but somehow I still can’t close most of my drawers. Failed hopes of bissfull minimalism can get depressing.

But then I look at a rainbow—a real one is always amazing but a graphic representation is also pretty good—and everything feels a little more hopeful. Rainbows remind me of my ’70s childhood during which you could find me wearing short shorts, Mork suspenders, sweatbands, and socks festooned with rainbows (what are your rainbow memories?).

So I’m not complaining that I’m seeing rainbows everywhere lately. I hope they’re a trend that never dies. It looks to be going quite strong, based on how easy it was to collect for you the rainbow items below. Don’t you feel happier already?
